Modern Health

Need a hand navigating life — for yourself or a loved one? ZOLL has you covered. Through Modern Health, our new mental wellness partner, you get confidential access to personalized one-on-one support, group sessions, and self-guided resources to help you thrive — at home, at work, and in your relationships.

Modern Health — your new mental health, well-being, and resiliency platform is replacing the Cigna Employee Assistance Program (EAP) as of May 1, 2025. Anyone actively engaged with Cigna EAP before that date may continue services for up to 90 days.

Modern Health provides free, confidential, and evidence-based care — available 24/7 and tailored to fit your unique needs, including:

  • 8 coaching sessions per year with a certified professional to help you navigate challenges, identify growth opportunities, and build action plans to reach your goals.
  • 8 therapy sessions per year with a licensed therapist to help you explore mental health concerns and create a plan for support.
  • Unlimited group support sessions (known as Circles) that are designed to be safe spaces for sharing & learning with others.
  • Unlimited guided meditations on managing stress and proactively building resilience.

Enrolled in a ZOLL medical plan? After using your 8 free therapy sessions, you can continue to work with your Modern Health therapist. Just enter your insurance info when prompted after booking your last free session. You’ll also be informed of any copays, deductibles, or coinsurance based on your plan.
 

How it Works
  1. Download the Modern Health mobile app or go to my.modernhealth.com to register.
  2. Sign up using your ZOLL email address and use company code: ZOLL

    You can update your preferred email to your personal email address anytime in your Modern Health account settings. Your ZOLL email is only required to verify your eligibility.

  3. Answer a few questions about your well-being and preferences for care – or if you’d like to skip this step you can start exploring the platform right away.
    If you choose to take the quick well-being assessment, Modern Health will create a personalized care plan with one-on-one, group, and digital resource suggestions tailored to your needs and preferences.

A Personalized and Confidential Experience
  • All information submitted through the Modern Health app is kept confidential and used to deliver a personalized experience for you. No personal data is shared with ZOLL. For more information, please refer to Modern Health’s Privacy Policy.
  • Modern Health’s mobile app currently supports 17 languages. The mobile app will default to your phone’s language preferences automatically, but you can change your language selection any time in the app under Settings.

ADDING A DEPENDENT

You and your dependents have access to Modern Health through your ZOLL benefits. Direct access to Modern Health is available for adult dependents 18 years old or older. Access to therapy is available for minor dependents of all ages.

Adding Your Dependent

You may invite dependents to register for Modern Health only after you’ve registered yourself. Once you’ve registered, you will have the option in your user profile to invite adult dependents (18+) under “Settings”, then choose “Invite Dependents” and fill in the necessary information.

After submitting the minor dependent via the mobile app or at help@modernhealth.com, a Modern Health Care Team member will contact you to initiate the care matching process.
