Get Help

Suffering Grief or Loss?

Going through a personal loss is overwhelming and can often take an emotional toll. ZOLL is here to support you and your family with benefits that provide time off to grieve, financial guidance and practical help.

Get Support

So that you can take the time you need, ZOLL provides 3 days of paid bereavement leave for the death of a spouse, domestic partner, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, grandchild (and step- and in-laws of each), or a miscarriage.

Your local HR Benefit Advocate can help you find the support you need. Some of the benefits available include:

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) can provide 24/7 personal support and access to counseling.
  • Paid Time Off benefits may be available if you need to take additional time during this difficult period.
Your Next Steps

If your dependent was covered on any ZOLL plans:

  • Contact Human Resources within 31 days from the death so that we can help you with next steps.
  • Review your current benefit coverages and make necessary changes.
  • Be sure to update your 401(k) and Life and AD&D beneficiary information if your dependent was listed as a beneficiary.
  • Consider adjusting the amount you are contributing to the Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account.
  • File a life insurance claim if your dependent was covered under Supplemental Life Insurance.

We understand that this is a difficult time for you. Remember, you don’t have to go through anything alone. Contact your local HR Benefit Advocate with any questions
