Behavioral Health & Virtual Services

Behavioral health and virtual services provide the emotional and mental support you need no matter where you are. ZOLL’s medical plans include benefits for behavioral health in person or through virtual visits, where you can talk confidentially to a counselor or therapist without leaving your home.

HOW IT WORKS

UnitedHealthcare (UHC) and Aetna plans are dedicated to making sure all members can access behavioral health resources, no matter what. Whether you opt for Face-to-face office visits or virtual visits through your device, providers can evaluate and treat general mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety.

UHC and Aetna partner with a variety of virtual mental well-being providers to extend access to licensed, in-network therapists for you and your family:

  • All virtual services are confidential and available 24/7/365.
  • Costs associated with these providers may differ slightly based on your medical plan enrollment, refer to your Summary of Benefits and Coverage by plan.
    • Saver Plan with HSA members will pay 10% coinsurance after their deductible is met*.
    • PPO90 members will pay a copay, which is not applied to their deductible*.

UHC members can reach out to the following virtual mental well-being providers for support.

Talkspace

Talkspace is a confidential online therapy tool that can connect you with licensed therapists via text messaging, audio/video messaging or through virtual face-to-face sessions. AbleTo

AbleTo is an evidence-based, structured therapy program that helps to strengthen medical recovery and self-care. It provides virtual support for depression, anxiety and stress that may accompany other health issues, such as cardiac conditions, diabetes, cancer, and chronic pain. For up to eight weeks, you can engage in both behavioral coaching and personalized therapy via phone or video. During this time, you can engage in up to two sessions per week.

There are many different programs to choose from to meet your individual goals and needs. You may meet weekly with a therapist or a coach, but some programs will have two separate weekly calls (one with a therapist and another with a coach).

  • Most calls are about 45 minutes, while some can be as short as 15 minutes, based on your program.
  • Evening and weekend appointments are available.
  • There are also options for self-guided programs, so you can build your skills on your own time.

Self Care+

Self Care+ is AbleTo’s on-demand digital program designed for emotional well-being and self-guided care. With the app, you can access resources at your own pace. This tool is perfect if you like the freedom of a self-paced program, or if you may not feel you’re ready to work with a provider one on one. Self Care+ offers support in three key areas of support for everyday well-being:

  • Assessments & Tracking offers personalized recommendations to help you monitor your progress.
  • Mental Health Skills & Tools provide access to evidence informed mental health tools, meditations, mindfulness techniques and guided journaling designed to help you build resilience.
  • Collections of Activities are based on broad behavioral needs, such as managing your emotions, reducing feelings of anxiety, learning about and responding better to parental stress, improving sleep quality and so much more.
