Mental Wellness Support by Plan
Mental wellness programs provide the emotional and behavioral health support you need no matter where you are. ZOLL’s medical plans include benefits for in-person care or virtual visits, so you can speak confidentially with a counselor, coach, or therapist from the comfort of your home.
Your ZOLL medical plans administered by Surest, UnitedHealthcare (UHC), and Aetna are dedicated to making sure all plan members can access mental wellness resources, no matter what. Whether you opt for face-to-face office visits or virtual visits through your computer or mobile device, providers can evaluate and treat general mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety.
All ZOLL medical plans partner with a variety of virtual mental wellness providers to extend access to licensed, in-network therapists for you and your family:
- All virtual services are confidential and available 24/7/365.
- Costs associated with these providers may differ slightly based on your medical plan enrollment, refer to your Summary of Benefits and Coverage by plan.
- Surest Plan members will pay a copay. Surest does not have an annual deductible*.
- Saver Plan with HSA members will pay 10% coinsurance after their deductible is met*.
- PPO Plan members will pay a copay, which is not applied to their deductible*.
*When provider is in network
All ZOLL employees and their dependents have access to mental health support through Modern Health even if you opt out of ZOLL medical coverage.

Modern Health — your new mental health, well-being, and resiliency platform is replacing the Cigna Employee Assistance Program (EAP) as of May 1, 2025. Anyone actively engaged with Cigna EAP before that date may continue services for up to 90 days.
